RECAPITALIZED AND ACQUIRED BY LDI LTD., LLC
PORTLAND, OR. August 31, 2010 — LDI Ltd., LLC, a private holding company in Indianapolis with interests in distribution and logistics, announced today that it has recapitalized and acquired majority control of Portland-based Oregon International Air Freight Co. and OIA Global Logistics-SCM, Inc. (collectively “OIA”). OIA is a leading international provider of logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, turn-key contract warehousing and packaging design and fulfillment.
For over 20 years, OIA has met the logistics services needs of Fortune 500 companies and middle market businesses. Junki Yoshida, OIA’s founder and Chairman, said OIA’s continued focus on enhancing and expanding its services to its customers was a major factor in forging the relationship with LDI. “Our partnership with LDI gives us greater resources to grow with our customers.
