LDI, Ltd. Announces Leadership Changes

INDIANAPOLIS — LDI, Ltd. LLC has transitioned leadership and added executive staff following an established succession plan. J.A. Lacy assumed leadership of LDI as president and CEO effective, Jan. 1, 2013. He succeeds David Shane, CEO from 2007-2012, who will continue to serve on LDI’s board of directors.

This month, Lacy named two top executives to LDI’s staff. Beginning Feb. 4, Bill Himebrook, a veteran of corporate finance and an executive at WellPoint, will serve as chief financial officer; and Emily Krueger, a former adviser to U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar, will serve as chief of staff.

Lacy joined LDI in 2011 and served as president and chief operating officer, as part of the company’s succession plan. He previously served as president of FinishMaster, president of Tucker Rocky Canada and vice president of J. Walter Thompson. Lacy is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

“J.A. is a proven leader with deep knowledge of LDI and its business units. He is well prepared to lead the future growth of LDI,” said Shane. “With the addition of Bill and Emily, J.A. continues to build a great leadership team, creating the next generation of success at LDI.”

Himebrook has 25 years of experience in a variety of financial, accounting and mergers and acquisitions roles, bringing significant experience to LDI in managing large, enterprise-wide projects. At WellPoint, Himebrook was vice president of integration, responsible for leading integration activities for numerous acquisitions during the last decade. He previously held various financial leadership positions overseeing financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis. He began his career at Price Waterhouse and has a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University.

Krueger spent more than seven years working for Lugar in a variety of press, fundraising and campaign roles in Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis. She is a graduate of Valparaiso University and has an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Lacy takes over following Shane’s retirement as CEO on Dec. 31. Shane joined LDI in 1997 with 20 years of legal experience and a strong commitment to the city of Indianapolis. “As CEO, Dave applied his calm and thoughtful leadership to multiple opportunities and challenges,” said Andre B. Lacy, chairman of LDI. “During his time at the helm, Dave worked with our business leaders to drive growth in value; managed strategy, including building Tucker Rocky, acquiring OIA Global and transitioning FinishMaster; and oversaw civic and unit-holder engagement, board activities and leadership development. We thank Dave, applaud J.A.’s additions to our leadership team and are excited about LDI’s future.
